Quantum computing in drug discovery by Dr. Shahar Keinan, Co-founder and CEO @ Polaris Quantum Biotech | October 20 @ 1900hrs CAT | Register to join | https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMoceyh
Thank you for making the OneQuantum Zimbabwe event a success.
Thank you to our speakers and attendees for contributing to the success of the OneQuantum Zimbabwe event, which was focused on showcasing local talent.
We got a rare moment to learn about the quantum ecosystem from one of the world leaders in the field, Rupesh Srivastava - OneQuantum Argentina President.
Our local speaker, Esther Munakandafa, is a pioneer of the quantum community in Zimbabwe and we loved hearing about her journey - it is simply unbelievable.
It was beautiful to hear how today’s youth has also joined the quantum revolution. And to help us in this effort, we had the opportunity to get advice and tips from Rupesh.
Coming up,
Sign up for the 20th of October at 1900hrs CAT to learn more from Dr. Shahar Keinan, C.E.O., and Co-founder of Polaris Quantum Biotech. She will give a high-level talk about quantum computing in drug discovery. Don’t miss out.
This event is FREE and open to all.
All our events are best enjoyed with others so please invite your quantum tech colleagues and sign up for the one-on-one networking cocktail to get the full experience.
OneQuantum Zimbabwe is a community effort. I am happy to hear from everyone how best to move quantum forward in our beautiful country. We are always looking for volunteers and partners to help us expand and improve our efforts.
Please reach out to me with your goals at lorrainemajiri8@gmail.com.
Please share this with your colleagues and let’s move quantum forward in Zimbabwe and join the global ecosystem NOW!

“We’ve witnessed a number of transitions since quantum physics first emerged over 100 years ago. Things like transistors, lasers, and MRI would never have been conceivable without quantum physics. So you could argue that many applications of quantum physics are already here. The late 1980s produced various theories on how quantum physics could be used for information technology, computers, secure communication, and enhanced sensor systems. In the late 1990s, researchers began experimenting with ways of making such systems a reality, and the first successful implementations led to a period of experimental advances and a surge in expectations. Today, we really are in a transitional phase between fundamental physics and real-world applications.”
In conversation with: Oxford Quantum Circuits’ Ilana Wisby
CEO Ilana Wisby shatters all deep tech founder stereotypes. Her unique skill set seamlessly crosses both the business world and academia, garnering accolades in each along the way.
